AM and MP in affordable housing campaign
Plaid Cymru call for more to be done over affordable housing.
Plaid Cymru representatives Adam Price and Rhodri Glyn Thomas have helped launch a campaign calling for affordable housing in the constituency. Joining Cymru X, the Assembly Member and Member of Parliament have voiced their calls for affordable housing in the constituency.
Mr Price said:
"It's very important that there are schemes put in place to ensure fair access for all to the housing markets. We are calling for Carmarthenshire County Council to develop a comprehensive strategy to deal with this problem."
Mr Price added:
"It's important that every young person has the opportunity to purchase an affordable home in their community. It is an issue in the county that needs to be addressed and I hope that through this campaign Carmarthen County Council will realise that they need to act to ensure that the housing market is made more accessible in Carmarthenshire."
