Local business impresses Plaid politicians
Plaid Cymru's representatives in Carmarthen East and Dinefwr have praised the success of a local company as they continue to expand. Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM and Adam Price MP were speaking after visiting the Cambrian Pet Foods factory.
Mr Thomas said:
"I was very impressed with the success of this local family business and their passion for investing back into the local economy. With their proposed expansion to a further factory in Llangadog this local business will be creating a further 30-40 new jobs."
Mr Price added:
"It was clear from speaking to the management at Cambrian Pet Foods that they were very proud of producing a product that Wales and Carmarthenshire can be proud of. It was very pleasing to meet a family that have set up a business employing local people, supplying local shops and who are eager to make the best use of local produce. This is a business that we can be proud of in the constituency."
