Plaid AM raises Road Safety question

Carmarthen East and Dinefwr's Assembly Member for Wales has raised concerns over road safety in the constituency. Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM has questioned Andrew Davies AM, the Minister for Economic Development and Transport regarding recent accidents in the constituency.

Mr Thomas said:

"There have been a number of serious accidents over the last year and it is an important issue in the constituency. I have asked the Minister to make a statement on speed restrictions in the area in relation to these accidents."

Mr Thomas added:

"It is important that we look at these accidents and try and find ways to ensure that they do not happen again. I believe that it is important that we put measures in place to restrict the potential for future accidents and look to raising driver awareness to educate people of the potential dangers when driving in the constituency."
