Plaid AM speaks out on First Ministers "tour"
Plaid Cymru's Assembly Member for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr has spoken about his shock at seeing Rhodri Morgan visiting Mid Wales. Rhodri Glyn Thomas was commenting on Rhodri Morgan's 3 day tour of Mid Wales.
Mr Thomas said:
"I am shocked to find that Rhodri Morgan is leaving his bunker in Cardiff. It is a shame we don't see him outside the capital more often. I can only imagine that he prefers to bury his head in Cardiff rather than visit the areas that his administration is failing."
Mr Thomas added:
"After Labour's failure to deliver on their election policy of free home care for the disabled, Rhodri Morgan will find disenchantment within his own supporters as they look to Plaid Cymru as a party willing to deliver for the people of Wales. If Rhodri Morgan comes to my constituency he will see plenty of evidence of Labour's false promises. Whilst in opposition in the council they were against car parking charges only to increase them by 150% when elected. It is clear that the Welsh public can no longer trust the Labour party."
