Plaid Cymru AM fights for constituency in Europe
Carmarthen East and Dinefwr's Assembly Member will be flying to Brussels for key talks with representatives of the European Union to discuss a number of issues. As a member of the European and External Affairs Committee Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM will be taking part in discussions relating to the structural funds.
Mr Thomas said:
"I'm very pleased to be able to take part in these very important discussions. I am determined to see that Carmarthen East and Dinefwr receive their fair share of the structural funds."
Mr Thomas added:
"The last time the funds were discussed Carmarthen did very well but this time I think we could improve on that. I am privileged to be able to represent the constituency and Wales on a European level."
