Plaid AM presides over mobile phone masts debate

Plaid Cymru's Assembly Member for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr has presided over a debate in the first week that the new Assembly Building (Senedd) has been open.

Rhodri Glyn Thomas presided over the debate on mobile phone masts at the Senedd in one of its first debates.

Mr Thomas said:

"I was very privileged to preside over the debate on mobile phone mast in the Senedd. It was a very important debate for the constituency with a number of concerns being voiced by constituents about these masts."

Mr Thomas added:

"I was disappointed that the labour government backed big businesses rather than the concerns of local people in Wales. I was very disappointed that two conservative Assembly members failed to turn up to vote thus handing victory to the labour government and big businesses."
