Plaid Cymru MP speaks out for locals

Plaid Cymru's members for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr Adam Price and Rhodri Glyn Thomas have spoken out over the lack of service given to the people of Drefelin. Plaid Cymru's Adam Price MP has written to the Culture Minister asking for answers to clarify the situation at Drefelin where there are a number of residents not able to receive analogue TV.

Mr Price said,

"Whilst the majority of people in Wales are looking to go over to digital TV the residents of Drefelin are still without any analogue service. It's as if their village has been forgotten. Although they have no analogue service they are still expected to pay the license fee. I have written to the culture minister asking her to clarify this situation and make a statement on the issue of license fee payment in relation to people who can not receive analogue service."

Mr Thomas added,

"I have arranged a meeting with the people of Drefelin to hear their concerns and look towards finding a working solution to this problem."
