Dansco Goes into Administration
The Dansco cheese factory has been forced into administration. Whilst it is sad to see this happen it is the best way forward. I am hoping that it will lead to the factory being bought and a future for the production line in my constituency.
here are several companies looking to purchase the business. There is a recognised supply line and dedicated and experienced staff that could take the factory forward. Locally there is management experience. I have raised the issue with the Environment, Planning and Countryside Minister and am assured that support will be given for any potential takeover.
